Dear Usdath, can you explain what is meant by the belief of Ahlul Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah that the Quran is not created. بارك الله فيكم

Ustadh AbdulAziz al-Haqqan
The belief of Ahlul Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah is that the Qur'an is the Speech of Allah, sent down and not created, from Him it began and to Him it returns, its letters and its meanings together. It is uncreated because the Speech of Allah is an Attribute of His, and the Attributes of Allah are not created, unlike the creation which He brought into existence out of nothing. Imam Ibn Baz raḥimahullāh stated that whoever says the Qur'an is created has fallen into disbelief according to Ahlul Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah, and this was the saying of the Jahmiyyah and the Mu'tazilah, whom the imams of the Salaf refuted and warned against.
