If my parents get angry at me for something which I didnt intentionally do, and I feel like I cant control my anger or emotions in their presence & need some space to cool down & destress, can I walk away even if they order me to stay there? It leads to verbal abuse and harms me & I can’t bear it

Obedience to parents is in what is good and reasonable, not in everything without limit, for the Prophet ﷺ said obedience is only in what is right (agreed upon). Stepping away quietly for a short while to calm yourself, so that you do not fall into raising your voice or answering back in a way that hurts them, is not disobedience, as long as you return to them with kindness and do not cut them off. Be patient and gentle with them and seek Allah's help, and there is great reward in bearing this for His sake. And if you need to leave instead of saying or doing something worse, then leave to cool off a bit and return to them apologizing and saying kind words.
