Salam Alaikum Warahmat Allahi Wabaraktu Ustadh, I have seen many of the hadadiya and the likes warning against Shaykh Rayyis May Allah preserve him, and they give the fatwas of some of the senior scholars warning against him. I have seen that Shaykh Fawzan has retracted and others, how do we respond

Take it as a rule in this matter. When a criticism or a warning is conveyed about a person, the first duty is to verify and not to accept or spread everything that is heard, for Allah says, the meaning of which is: If a disobedient person comes to you with news, then verify it (al-Hujurat 6). Sheikh Al-Rayyis, may Allah preserve him and put baraka in his knowledge, life, and efforts, ameen, should be the one asked about the likes of me and not the other way around, as I am the one who is small next to him. Also don't forget to go on YouTube and look at how our Sheikh Falah Mundakar used to sit with him and praise him, as well as other scholars.
