As-salamu alaykum. I was addicted to drugs for many years, but alhamdulillah I have quit. I still struggle with nicotine addiction and find it very hard to stop. Is it permissible to attend an addiction support program if it is run by non-Muslims? JazakAllahu khayran.

Always prioritize Muslims, but if you are not able to, then yes, you can attend. This is a general rule, as long as it does not include something that is forbidden. For example: 1. Mixed gatherings 2. Situations where the instructor influences you away from religion 3. Situations where the instructor criticizes religion If it includes things like that, then you cut them off.
