السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته احسن الله إليكم There is a halaqah for quran recitation at the masjid i go to and they usually recite to a teacher who has some ijazat but his manhaj is unclear to me. If i wanted to join the halaqah just for recitation, what would you advise me? جزاكم الله خيرا

Of course, the advice is always to look for someone trustworthy and someone you can benefit from the most. However, for convenience, if you are not able to access that, then you can learn the Quran with them unless you see something that is off or there is deviance and so on. Otherwise, the asl is that yes, you can join and you can learn.
