Assalamualaykum, for a valid Wudu. Do I have to intend that I am making this Wudu for something? For example: Do I need to intend that I am making Wudu for becoming in the state of purity. or intend that I am making Wudu for prayer. Or Can I just intend to do Wudu and that would be sufficient?

Just the thought crossing your mind that you're going to make wudu to pray is enough. Nothing more.
