Assalamu alaikum. Is it permissible to work as detective in a non-Muslim country, investigating crimes like murder and child abuse, finding and arresting offenders, provided that the job doesn't contain anything Haram in itself? Jazakum Allahu khayran.

I highly doubt that it's not going to contain anything that is forbidden. As many jobs like these, especially in the West, they will include a lot of forbidden things, at the very least, free mixing.
