In Manhaj as-Salikin lesson 4, you said, eadible silver and gold are also haram to eat, can you please give reference to this. In India we have sweets covered with a thin layer of silver and sometimes gold, and almost every muslim eats it. i have never heard that it is not allowed to eat.
