As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh. I want to ask if this is correct to check whether I understood the Kitāb at‑Tawḥīd lessons. If someone jumps rope for his shaykh in order to seek closeness to him, is it correct that this would be major shirk? Jazākallāhu khayran.

How is jumping rope an act of worship? Do u suffer from waswas? If yes this will affect my answer as well to dismiss these thoughts because u will start thinking everything is shirk.
