Can you please explain this Hadeeth? We were with Buraida in a battle on a cloudy day and he said, "Offer the `Asr prayer early as the Prophet said: مَنْ تَرَكَ صَلاَةَ الْعَصْرِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ “Whoever leaves the `Asr prayer, all his (good) deeds will be annulled." (Saheeh Al Bukhari 553)

Ustadh AbdulAziz al-Haqqan
The eminent scholar (al-ʿAllāmah) Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān, may Allah preserve him, said: What is meant by "missing the ʿAṣr prayer" is missing its time — that is, taking it out of its appointed time without a valid excuse. This is a severe threat. So the Muslim must pray the prayers within their times.
