السلام عليكم A brother asked: he insulted a group of Muslims characters(without names) ie “those dirty something” to someone who likely would return this info to the group. He’s repented for this ghreeba but doesn’t know if he must ask the group for forgiveness as there’s a chance they don’t know.

If they do not know, and telling them will cause evil, then he shouldn't tell them. If it is not going to cause evil, he can apologize to them. I remind the brother not to say or act when he is angry, as he will regret the outcome.
