Asalamualikum sheikh. i heard you said eating animals that were stunned are halal as long as they were slaughtered in the islamic way and were alive. My question is. i hear that sometimes due to the stun the blood may not properly get drained and wouldnt stunning come under mistreating the animal?

When you say, "I heard this" and "I heard that," these are not even correct questions because they are based on hearsay rather than the reality of what actually happens. Even if that is the case, this is digging way too deep, and it is something that is blameworthy in Islam.
