What is the ruling on the term “infinity” in math, physics, etc; some math and physics problems talk about “infinite” length wires, or as current approaches “infinity”.is this the same as saying a created thing has no ending or is this to be understood as very large rather than literally no ending?

Do not fall into a Waswas. Infinity is exactly what they mean in math; it does not refer back to anything that is Islamic or has to do with aqidah and so on.
