Can bad thoughts of Allah be mental issue and is it forgiven even though it comes from nafs?

Ustadh AbdulAziz al-Haqqan
Or is it something even normal? Because these thoughts came to the companions and they complained to the Messenger (peace be upon him), telling him that they were having certain thoughts that they would prefer falling from the sky to the ground rather than say them. The Messenger said that that is Sarih al-Iman—blatant Iman, apparent Iman, meaning belief. So this is something normal; you just shouldn't react to it. The whole problem is how we react to certain thoughts or how we obsess about them and think about them too much. You shouldn't, and they will go away. Even if they are there, don't be nervous or have any type of anxiety. It is normal; everybody has thoughts like that in different ways, shapes, and manners.
