My father is an ill elderly man, for context, I’m a male. I give him a shower and help him use the toilet etc which results in him exposing his awrah and me witnessing it. What is the ruling on this? Is there any sin on me or my dad? And what to do in these situations?

If he is not able to, then there is no problem in that and may Allah SWT reward you for helping him at his time of need. Just like if somebody has done major surgery and then his son or his father takes care of him and takes him to the bathroom, even if it meant exposing the awrah. However you should be careful not to look and stay away as much as possible.
