Assalamu alaikum , question about futures trading through prop firms. I pay a fee for a demo challenge account, and if I pass, the company pays me from their own pocket based on my demo profits.; I’m longing/shorting based on analysis. Since no one else loses money when I profit, halal or haram?

But you said that you pay a fee, and if you succeed, then they pay you. If you don't succeed, then they don't pay you. You see what I mean? This is gambling.
