Tell the brother I forgive everybody who has done so, and even those who have done worse, without even meeting them or knowing about them. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala protect us and you. All I ask from him to seek knowledge and continue upon this path of seeking knowledge and rectifying himself, seeking the guidance of himself as well as others.
