As Salaamu Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh is it permissible to play fortnite? my brother told me there are shrines in game as well as greek gods, the game has been updated many times since we last played, the shrines and gods are avoidable, there is a seperate map without them in it.

This is the first time I hear this. I have never heard that the game includes something like this, but if it does, then of course you should stay away from it. If it doesn't, then Allah knows best in regards to what it contains from other forbidden things. But if it doesn't contain something that is forbidden, then you can play, inshallah.
