khateeb in Australia sits down after delivering 1st part of khutba, stays sitting down and a person stands up from the people to deliver what was said in arabic. Then imam stands up to deliver the rest of the khutbah. What is the ruling on this? جزاكم الله خيرا

Like this, it becomes three khutbahs, and this is a bid'ah. If he wants, he can make the khutbah in the language of the people that they understand; there is no problem in that. If he wants to recite the ayat in Arabic and the khutbah in English, it is good to do so.
