Assalamu Alaikum Is it a sunnah to pray the sunnah of fajr fast? And could you provide a hadith if this is the case. JazakAllahu Khayran

Ustadh AbdulAziz al-Haqqan
Imam Ibn Baz said: It is two rak‘ahs, and it is better to perform them at home, though if one performs them in the mosque there is no harm. In them, one recites al-Fātiḥah and Qul yā ayyuhā al-kāfirūn in the first rak‘ah, and in the second: Qul huwa Allāhu aḥad along with al-Fātiḥah. Alternatively, one may recite in the first rak‘ah, after al-Fātiḥah, the ayah from al-Baqarah: “Say: We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Ibrāhīm and Ismā‘īl…” [al-Baqarah: 136], and in the second rak‘ah, after al-Fātiḥah, the ayah from Āl ‘Imrān: “Say: O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is just between us and you—that we worship none but Allah…” [Āl ‘Imrān: 64]. All of this was done by the Prophet ﷺ—this and that. It is a confirmed Sunnah, and it is legislated to keep it light. It is better at home, though if performed in the mosque there is no harm. It is prescribed for both men and women, for the traveler and the resident—for everyone. Yes.
