Assalamualaykum Ya Ustadh, HayakAllak. my city has no students of knowledge upon salafiyyah, the ones that existed left for saudiyyah etc. There is a dire need for someone to teach. When do i know i am ready? is there some specific signs?

If you have a Shaykh that you are studying under, and he knows you well and knows your level, he would be the one to accurately tell you if you are ready to teach publicly or not. Teaching publicly is a responsibility. Before you teach, you have to be at a certain level of knowledge and truly know what you are teaching in order not to fall into saying something that is wrong in the Deen of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Therefore, the Mashayikh and the Ulama that you studied under and who know your level are the most suitable to: 1. Let you know if you can teach or not. 2. Encourage people to seek knowledge from you, as what they say is heard and respected.
