Assalamu alaikum ustadh. I know the woman’s hijab should not resemble the hump of the camel. However, what about the women who has afro hair; the hair is naturally puffy and curly and causes a hump, although it’s been brushed and made into a smaller ponytail. May Allah bless you.

I am not sure if you mean the proper hijab or a form of hijab that is not able to conceal it, because the proper hijab does conceal it unless you have a different case. Either way, I recommend that you ask sisters who have more experience in regards to what to wear in order to conceal the curly hair.
