Ustadh , I know the ulama say drop shipping is impermissible but what about if it’s like this: Someone buys 10 pieces of a product , but it isn’t in his possession it’s with the supplier, then he sells it online and when the customer buys it the supplier ships it to them , is that permissible?

If you mean they are with the supplier (just like any other company that has containers or something similar) so that you can keep your commodity, and it is on them to ship them and they take some fees for that, then this is allowed inshallah.
