Ahsanallahu ilaykum ustadh, is it valid to take part in Udhiya (slaughter/distribution/etc.) if the family is in debt but plans to repay later and has enough assets to cover it? My father joined a meat share using his Eid pension allowance—does this affect validity?

If he knows he is capable of paying the debt in time then it is fine in sha'a Allah as mentioned by Imam Ibn Uthaymeen otherwise he shouldn't.
