أحسن الله إليكم I saw in the notes of al-durus al-muhimmah that it mentions only 2 raka’ rawatib before dhuhr but in the Hadith it states 4 raka rawatib before dhuhr? ‏جزاك الله خيرا

Also in the hadith, it mentions two rak'as (rawatib) before Dhuhr. Therefore, some of the people of ilm went with this, and it seems to be the stronger saying: the two rak'as before the two rak'as of rawatib are not actually part of the rawatib.
