Is it permissible to attend a men's only martial arts class to learn self-defence if there are people there who show their awra?

This has become quite problematic. The people of Ilm have mentioned, when it comes to sports, that it is not allowed to look at another brother's awrah. The Messenger of Allah told us not to look at each other's awrah, whether men with men or women with women.
