We are planning on making a community where we try to bridge the gap between Muslims in the West and Salafiyah. One of the gaps is the name "Salafi" (here, its seen as extreme, Saudi, takfiri,etc). Can we call ourselves "Sunni Dawah" to make it light in the hearts of people?

There is no problem to name it whatever you want to name it seeing that it is the best fit for you and your dawah.
