one would like to learn the seerah of nabi صلّى اللّه عليه و سلّم authentically as well as the lives and stories of the sahabas رضي الله عنهم, where to take this 3ilm from? +is AMAU academy a reliable source of knowledge for those matters? (seerah series..)

I have delayed this on purpose in the academy, and I always delay this when I teach students, because a lot of misconceptions can happen when you start studying the Seerah without being founded in knowledge and having strong foundations. Shaykh al-Allamah Salih al-Shaykh has mentioned this: that a student of knowledge needs to be firm. He mentioned the meaning of this, that a student needs to be firm and to study well before he enters and reads the Seerah, because suspicious matters are going to come his way. If he is not well established, it might become a fitna for him rather than learning. He needs that foundation so that he knows how to deal with certain matters that might be problematic along the way.
