ahsanallahuilaikum ya ustadh, apologies if this question is offensive. Is this academy Wahabi? i just noticed the author of thalathah al-usul is him. I heard alot of criticism about wahabi in my country. What is it and can I rely on it?

Ustadh AbdulAziz al-Haqqan
Sheikh Mohammed ibn Abdul Wahab (may Allah have mercy on him) did not bring anything new. You can look for yourself. Everything that he says, you will find that it is from ayat from the Quran, hadith from the Sunnah, the sayings of the Sahaba, and the sayings of the Salaf As-Saleh. He did not say anything new. You will find that what he says is exactly as: 1. Ibn Kathir 2. Ibn al-Qayyim 3. Ibn Taymiyyah 4. Al-Bukhari and Muslim 5. Al-Imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal, Al-Shafi'i, and Malik etc... You will find the same thing throughout. We shouldn't be unjust towards one of the ulama just because of propaganda on social media or from certain sects. Find out for yourself. Read, study, and see: is there anything that violates the Quran and the Sunnah? Let us know.
