My brother lives in the UAE and began fasting based on their moon sighting, while in the subcontinent, fasting started a day later. He wants to return a few days before EID to celebrate. Does he celebrate EID according to the UAE sighting or the subcontinent, where EID is a day later?

He celebrates Eid in the land he is in. And his fasting should total 29 or 30 days if it totals less then he does not fast on Eid but fasts 1 day afterwards to complete 29 days. This is not his case but i mentioned it as a benefit.
