Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Ustadh,what is the ruling if one forgets if he has Wudu or not?

If he is sure that he made wudhu, but forgot did he break it or not then he remains upon wudhu. If he broke his wudhu and does not remember if he made wudhu or not then he needs to make wudhu.
