اسلم عليكم sheikh said stop kids playing in the mosque or keep them at home won't that reduce their love for it? The Prophet ﷺ let his grandchildren climb on him in prayer. As a kid in Saudi, playing in mosques made me love the mosque a lot and increased my love for prayers immensely.

If they are 7 years old and above and they don't disrupt the salah then take them, as for younger kids who disrupt the salah, it is better wothout a doubt not to bring them and disrupt the salah.
