السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته My Father has recently passed away and i had a question regarding making dua for him. My mother has said that ever since she’s been with him from a young age he has ONLY prayed Jummah prayer but never fasted but he had an amazing character. Is he considered a muslim?

In regards to abandoning the prayer the scholars differed as some considered the one who does so to be a disbeliever and some cosidered him to still be a believer; both of them have their arguments regarding this.
