Is it haram to use a software building framework that depends on a external templating tool called “Jinja,” named after japanese shinto shrines? The framework itself is not related to any religion, but installing it would probably place files with the "jinja" name on my or a client’s PC.

Don't pay attention to the names of software, also we might not be correct in what rhey mean as well. And if there is another program just as good use it instead if this one is suspicious for you.
