Should muslims Study astrophysics and other sciences? Even if its just out of interest in knowing Allahs creation. Or is it a waste of time? What sciences is a muslim encouraged to study? (besides ilm shar‘i) Is okay to do talib al ilm but prefers being a scientist or engineer over being a scholar?

Subhana Allah! How would u prefer something else other than being from the heirs of the prophets!!!!! As for studying what is beneficial to the Muslims from worldly sciences, it is allowed.
