أحسن الله إليكم Since duaʾ in sujud is legislated in general, is it permissible to regularly say [in every sujud]: “ اللهم اني اسالك علما نافعا ” ? Shaykh al-Islam says that fixing specific practices as a habit is impermissible, does this apply here or not? نسأل الله لنا ولكم العافية

U can make du'a' in your sujood may Allah reward u. And even if u repeat it u don't believe that this dua is the sunnah so we can say no this is a bid'ah to do.
