I'm working on a website, we have hundreds of testimonials to add to the site, however almost all of the people want to stay anonymous, so just to add credibility to the site can we, along with their testimonials, put random names, ages, and which country they are from? Or is this considered lying?

Deception, unless u say because they chose not to have their info publicly user a said so and so. And maybe some will agree to go publicly.
