Salamualikum sheikh, im confused why some sheikhs allow very small amounts of alcohol in food, for things like vanilla ice cream, they say because it wont intoxicate if taken in high amounts. But if I add a drop of alcohol to a food its haram, due to a hadith. Can you justify the reasoning for this?

Because the drop of alcohol you dropped, alot of it intoxicates and you added it to it.
