If we were watching a movie or video and a person says or does something haram or kufr would it be permissible to skip past that part and continue watching or must we stop watching the video or movie altogether?

Ofcourse it is better to watch something else, and movies mostly contain forbidden things in huge proportions, so my advice is to quit them altogether.
