Taqlīd is not excused in matters of aqidah; rather, what is wajib is to see the evidence. So, what practical steps help in abandoning taqlid in matters of creed for general people like my family? Which books? and do they need to visually see Arabic daleel, or is listening to the translation fine.

In matters that are necessary and not difficult or hidden, even in ither matters like salah is mandatory they are not mimicing they actually know it with evidence. As for knowing the translation only that is fine.
