‏السلام عليكم In my community it’s normal and frequent to invite each other for food/drink and simple visits just to talk. Some people may be blind followers of certain sufi inclined bid‘ah as the majority.Is accepting or inviting them back allowed, or is it considered sitting with people of bid‘ah?
