Assalāmu ʿalaykum ustādh. I received a full teaching-assistant scholarship that includes health insurance. Is it permissible to use it to check my frequent headaches and possible Irritable Bowel Syndrome? My salary may not be enough for the tests and medicines, so I may need the insurance.

If the insurance is given to you free of charge it is allowed to use it yes.
