Assalamualaikum, what does being certain of a “response” in dua mean? Does it mean I am certain Allah will answer at the best time, in one of three ways He does or He will answer me in the way I want? Does persistence in this case also mean I keep making dua until I see it answered in this dunya?

That you have trust in Allah that He will give you what is good for you and you continue making dua yes.
