Ustadhi حفظك الله, a talib ‘ilm under a Shaykh whom was a student of Shaykh Muqbil ibn Ḥādī al-Wāḍi‘ī رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّهُ رَحْمَةً وَاسِعَةً said that he follows the opinion of his sheikh that videos are also tasweer, I am ignorant & do not have a firm grasp on this difference, what is correct opinion?

It is allowed in sha'a Allah, however this is his opinion which is an opinion for some of the ulama.
