احسن الله إليك Ustadh, what is the sunnah way of breaking fast. Should I break my fast with e.g. a date, go pray and eat my meal after prayer? And what if the table is ready? Because of the hadith of the messengerﷺ: There is no praying when a meal is presented, nor when one needs to relieve himself.

This is what the Prophet used to do, but some fatawa mentioned the saying that he eats the full meal then prays and Allah knows best.
