I know watching horror movies and Halloween are both haram. But taking part in Halloween is worse because you participate or partake in those peoples festival. There is a Halloween night and they play 4 movies and drinks. It is cheaper this way. Can I watch those movies without doing Halloween?

But they will have forbidden things in them, why not use your time in that which is beneficial to you instead?
