There is a Hadith narrated by thawban which talks about good deeds be in scattered like dust. Would this Hadith refer to the hypocrites who act good in front of Muslims only and do all kinds of sins alone? Also would this refer to sins that no one else knows you do and you keep them private?

If I remember it correctly in the hadeeth it is mentioned that he cussed this person and took the money of that etc. Therefore we must understand that doing good deeds should move us towards staying away from sins and harming others with oir tongue or actions.
