Ahsanallahu ilaikum, Ustadh, a husband who works and provides for the family but doesn't teach the kids anything related to Islam and plays video games. But the wife hides the video games from the kids and covers things up. Would the father's behavior negatively impact the children in the future?

Video games are allowed unless they contain something forbidden. Also, he should teach and raise his kids, but mostly the mother will have the biggest impact on them. This should not be an excuse for the mother not to put all her efforts into raising pious good children.
