Ustadh would it be considered a sin if I promised my future wife to live in a Muslim country after 1 year, but due to lack of finances I cannot fulfill the promise within 1 year and it become as example 2 years. I´m asking since I´m discussing future plans with a sister and a possible marriage.

If Allah wills akhi you never know it could take u less than a year or more than 10. Both of you should be mature enough to understand that.
