assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh I’ve noticed many of the youth posting Ibn Taymiyyah’s teachings or Ibn Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on them both) without studying his books or knowing Arabic or providing context. Is this permissible?

If it falls under speaking without knowledge and spreading false information about the religion, then it is a major sin.
